This Solar Charging Kit plugs directly into your bike, letting you recharge without needing an outlet, but with a speed comparable to the charger that comes with the OG/OG2 (42V, 2A). This means that a single 151.2 Whr battery (like the one that comes standard with an OG/OG2) charges in a quick 3 hours in direct sunlight. Use the included external adapter that comes with every JackRabbit and you can charge your battery off-bike. Whether you're at the campsite, fishing by the lake, or out in the desert, the Solar Panel Charging Kit keeps your JackRabbit ready to ride.
The kit includes a slim foldable solar panel, a boost converter with necessary cables, and a durable carrying bag for the boost converter. USB-A and USB-C type connection ports for charging your phone can be found on the panel. Lightweight and portable, it's always ready to go wherever the trail takes you.
Please note: For optimal performance, use the solar panel in direct sunlight and avoid charging in freezing temperatures, as it can damage the battery. Also, never charge the battery while riding your JackRabbit.
